It begins with an in-person consultation between your management team and our lawyers; afterwards, we deliver a written report assessing the company’s existing IP and its potential for protection as trade marks, designs, patents, trade secrets, know-how, and more.
The report focuses on analysing the company’s business model and shaping key commercial and branding strategies to reinforce the brand’s reputation. It explains:
How to protect your IP and which territories are best suited for registration, given the territorial nature of these rights;
How to manage your IP portfolio effectively;
The legal mechanisms for monetising your rights;
What steps should be taken when conflicts arise with third-party rights.
If the SME Fund is active, you may apply for a grant and receive reimbursement of 90% of the amount paid for the audit.
